Here are some of the supplements that I take, and why.
Most of the brands are Champion Nutrition and TwinLabs because if it is not a quality ingredients, then you are just flushing it. I have tried other brands before and I found a very noticeable decrease in my performance!

Dr. Colgans Antioxidant Chart

- Multi-Vitamin/Mineral – b/c your body rebuilds your cells every 6 months….from the nutrients that is supplied, thus it is true, “you are what you eat!” If nothing else, start with a quality Multi-Vitamin/Mineral.

- Chromic Fuel – a naturally occurring amino acid. Chromium helps to regulate blood sugar, which controls hunger and cravings. Chromium also helps your body lose fat and preserve muscle.

*CoQ10 is an anti-oxidant that you don’t get enough of. Aids in fighting free radicals.



*Fats are burned for energy inside the mitochondria. But the fats are stored in adipose cells and cannot pass through the mitochondria membranes unless they are transported by L-Carnitine. A recent study of with Athletes shows that supplementation w/2 grams of L-carnitine significantly increase use of fat during exercise.
